A beautiful smile is something every patient deserves. If you’ve suffered from advanced tooth loss, it can be easy to think that you’ll never have a beautiful smile again, and many patients have a negative perception of dentures. They imagine an elderly person with a shrunken, sagging face, but today, we can offer partial and full dentures that look and feel more like your natural smile. If you’ve lost several teeth or a full row of teeth, it’s time to schedule your tooth replacement consultation to learn more about custom crafted, flawlessly functional dentures.
What are Dentures?
Dentures are advanced tooth replacement prosthetics used to restore numerous teeth using a single restoration. A gum colored base material is used to support several replacement teeth or a full row of teeth. Partial dentures are molded to fill in the gaps between remaining healthy teeth, and they are held in place with metal clasps attached to surrounding teeth. Full dentures are molded to fit snuggly against the gum line. With proper fit, your full denture will remain firmly in place through suction between the gum and denture base.
How are Dentures Made?
Dentures are crafted by our trusted dental lab. Once any preparatory extractions and other procedures are completed, we will capture impressions of your prepared smile. These impressions are sent to the lab where your natural looking and feeling partial or full denture will be molded from the impression.
How Much do Dentures Cost?
The cost of your denture is dependent upon a number of variables, including restoration materials, size of the denture, and need for any preparatory treatmenta. Before we begin crafting your partial or full denture, we’ll walk you through the process and help you budget for your tooth replacement prosthetic. For those patients with dental insurance, we’ll also process and file claims to make sure you receive the maximum coverage to offset the costs of your dentures.
